Over the past thirty years Mark McGahan has been a visual communications professional specializing in the use of 3D solid modeling and animation to visualize complex processes for industry and commercial applications. He has provided design consultation for many large companies in the Dallas and San Francisco areas, has worked as a visual designer for one of the largest semiconductor firms in the world and has art directed industrial theater and corporate events for Fortune 500 companies across the nation.
Mr. McGahan graduated from Ogden High School in Ogden, Utah and after serving his country in the Navy he graduated with a BA in Art from the University of California, Berkeley in 1980. He received his MFA in Art and Technology from the University of Texas, Dallas in 2008.
Mark McGahan is currently the Digital Media Resources Production Manager for Region 10 Education Service Center in Richardson, Texas. Before joining Region 10 Mr. McGahan held the Program Director position for Graphic Design and Multimedia at a career college in Dallas, where he also taught Digital Video and Interactive Design and Animation. He has also been an instructor at various campuses of the Dallas County Community College District where he taught a variety of courses in graphic design and multimedia, 3D solid modeling and animation.
